The huge and stretched sandy beach called La Salie is located south of Arcachon and La Teste de Buch cities in Southwest of France. It offers some outstanding spots for surfing year round.
South of Pyla sur Mer and its famous Europe biggest sand dune (Dune du Pilat), after the peaceful beaches of the Arcachon Basin, stretch 18 km of ocean beaches which face the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
If you like the waves of the Southwest and the large sandy beaches, this is the best place to go to face the big waves, for the more experienced.
